New Officer Testing Information

**If you have not applied yet, please text NRVRJ to 97211 to apply first 

The entire testing process should take right around 4 hours.

• Dress: Business Casual
• What to bring: Please bring your driver’s license inside with you
• What not to bring: Cell phones, backpacks, purses, any other personal items that are not listed above must be left in your car
• Tests: The tests will consist of 2 parts: a written test that will include Vocabulary, Grammar, and Math, and a Psychological Examination test.

Instructions for arrival: Please enter into the main lobby at the jail and let them know you are there for officer testing.  

IF UNABLE TO KEEP THIS APPOINTMENT PLEASE KINDLY GIVE A 24-HOUR NOTICE

Please make sure you are eligible to test! To be a CO you must be at least 19 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. For more information on disqualifiers please click on the link below:
